Fellowships at TransferX
The TransferX Fellowship is a community of student leaders working to expand access to top university transfer opportunities. Fellows collaborate with our core team to grow the TransferX community, build useful tools and content, and support students preparing to transfer to leading universities.
We are looking for motivated students who want to gain leadership experience, build real projects, and help other students succeed.
Training and Planning
All fellows receive guidance and mentorship from the TransferX team and advisors. Training sessions will help fellows develop leadership, communication, and technical skills. Fellows also receive support throughout the program for academic and transfer preparation.

Roles
The TransferX Fellowship is designed for students who want to build, lead, and create impact while preparing for the next stage of their academic journey.
Growth Lead
Growth Leads help expand the TransferX community on their campus. Responsibilities include organizing events (both online and in person), building local communities, hosting workshops, and creating opportunities for students to connect. Activities may include meetups, information sessions, study groups, or social gatherings.
Social Media Lead
This role focuses on designing and managing content across TransferX social media platforms. Fellows will help create engaging posts, manage publishing schedules, and highlight student stories, transfer resources, and community events.
Meme & Content Creator
Content creators produce creative and relatable meme content that helps grow our student community online. This role helps increase awareness of transfer opportunities while keeping our platforms fun and engaging.
Software Engineering (SWE)
Engineering fellows help build and maintain TransferX software tools and platforms. Responsibilities may include building features, improving infrastructure, and collaborating with the technical team to support student resources.
Community Growth
Community Growth fellows help expand TransferX to more community colleges by identifying student leaders, building partnerships, and recruiting additional Growth Leads.
